The basic body of our new generation of ink cups is composed of high-quality coated aluminium. The TAMPONCOLOR® SMART CUP has been developed in combination with a replaceable carbide doctor ring and is available in various diameters (see table below).
In contrast to similar ink cup systems, the scraper lip can be attached or detached without tools.
Using a central holding magnet, which is continuously height-adjustable, the ink cup is held in an optimal position on the steel or plastic cliché. This also allows for colours to mix well during the printing operation.
Solvent can be dispensed via a ventilation screw, guaranteeing optimum ink viscosity throughout the entire printing process.
Alongside our steel and plastic clichés, we have a complete ink-guiding system which is designed for maximum durability, minimum wear and tear, and easy handling.
If process-related signs of wear appear on the doctor ring, it can be changed easily, leaving the TAMPONCOLOR® SMART CUP looking as good as new.
